Earlier today, I had the pleasure of talking to an actor whose performances have thrilled movie and television audiences for years. You may not recognize the name but I bet you recognize the face. Ronny Cox’s first movie role was in Deliverance where he played in the famous dueling banjo scene (some cool facts about that in the interview). Frequently he got to play the bad guy in a suit and tie in movies like Robocop and Total Recall. Star Trek: The Next Generation fans know him as Captain Edward Jellico from the two-part episode Chain of Command. Has he been in anything else? Check out his IMDb page. I’ll wait.
Come to find out, besides Ronny is quite the renaissance man. Besides a gifted actor, he is an incredibly talented musician playing guitar, singing, and writing his own music (find out more about Ronny on his website here). The good news for us is that he will be performing in Lenexa on Saturday, June 4th and you can still reserve tickets! Ronny and I talked about his acting career (and the joy of playing the bad guy) and his love of music and of performing. Listen to our interview belowand then reserve your tickets for the show!
