Interview with Writer/Artist Matt Kindt – San Diego Comic Con 2015

Matt Kindt is a comic book writer and artist that has done work for DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse and Valiant among others. He is probably best known for his work on his original creations like Super Spy, Red Handed: The Fine Art of Strange Crimes, and Mind MGMT.

Matt creates work over and over again that changes our perception of what can be done with the medium. His stories repeatedly have plots occurring on seemingly different planes that collide in unexpected ways. When you meet Matt at a convention, he frequently has something special for you like a secretly coded postcard or actually burning a page from his book. I’m not kidding.

We were honored to have our first interview for San Diego Comic Con be with the incredibly creative Matt Kindt. Matt’s book Mind MGMT is one of our favorites and it is truly his. He writes, draws and paints the entire book and it has been a mind warping adventure from page one. I purchased volume 5 from him at SDCC and the final volume should be out next year.

Here we have art from Matt from Mind MGMT and Red Handed: The Fine Art of Strange Crimes.
