Interview with Creator Thom Zahler – San Diego Comic Con 2015

As you can tell by now, John was all over the San Diego convention looking for creators to interview. Not just any creators, mind you. The RIGHT creators! Which is exactly how John ended up at the table for artist Thom Zahler. Thom took a few minutes out of his busy Con schedule to talk to John about attending the Joe Kubert school, creating family-friendly books, and his newest book from IDW, Long Distance.

You may have noticed that we referred to Thom as a comic book creator. You may ask yourself, why not refer to him as a writer or a penciler or an inker or a colorist or a letterer? Because for books like Love and Capes, which first debuted in 2006, he was the writer and the penciler and the inker and the colorist and the letterer, and if we tried to put all of those jobs into the title of a blog post, it just might break the Internet, by golly! So, creator it is!

So what are you waiting for? Give the interview a listen, people!

Here are some samples of Thom’s work over the last 10 years.
