It’s a hodge-podge week of various topics with the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! Stick around and you’ll probably hear something that interests you.

To get things started last weekend, the guys stopped an old man along the way, hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies. He turned to us as if to say, “Hurry boys, it’s waiting there for you.” Obviously, he was making reference to the first trailer for Marvel’s Black Panther movie, which will hit screens next February. We’ve watched the trailer over and over and are now ready to gush about it.

We also touch on some of our recent readings, which ranges from the final issue of The Flintstones to a ROM issue featuring the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. John puts together a quiz for Cullen and Jerry about the various Marvel comics with a September 1969 cover date that he recently read through. Seriously, how hard is it to name the Mole Man?

Speaking of reading, we pick an event from the Marvel Unlimited app to read this summer as a group. Big thank you to the first fan of the show James Taylor for his suggestion of Avengers vs. X-Men. We’ll read five to six issues a week over the next two months and share our thoughts along the way.
