WCPE Episode 145 – Planet Comicon Preview with Chris Jackson

As March comes to a close, the guys of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! are looking ahead to the end of April. Specifically, April 28-30 as Kansas City will be host to the Planet Comicon 2017.

To go over the details of the upcoming show, we went straight to the top and invited Planet Comicon Founder and CEO Chris Jackson into the WCPE studios. Over the next hour, we discussed the challenges of putting a show together, the all-star line-up for the show next month, and what Chris does for the other 362 days each year when Planet Comicon is not taking over downtown.

As for this year’s show – WOW! This line-up is HUGE! The celebrity guest list reads like a who’s who of Hollywood – Stephen Amell, John Barrowman, Ron Perlman, Billie Piper, Summer Glau, and many more!

For the comic fans, it doesn’t get much bigger than Jim Steranko, Frank Brunner, Kevin Eastman, Dan Didio, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, and so many more names that to keep reading this here only slows you down from listening to our awesome podcast. (Plus we got the inside scoop on a comic book legend that just signed a contract to appear at Planet. You guys are going to be so excited when you hear the news of this excellent creator!)
