WCPE Episode 129 – Off the Snart

Is there a better time of the year for comic book fans than right now? We would be hard pressed to come up with a better choice, given everything going on right now.

First up, CW gave us the four-part crossover we’ve been waiting for, ever since The Flash crossed over with Supergirl last season. Now, we get those two shows along with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow uniting to stop an alien invasion. Four nights, dozens of characters, and hundreds of OMG moments made for the perfect crossover.

As if that was not enough goodness, we have a brand new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer to gush over. Mark our words, there will be plenty of Baby Groot product on shelves by next May. (And if any of the toy makers are reading this, don’t shortchange us AGAIN on the Gamora and Mantis merchandise!)

We get in some comic talk about recent reads and online purchases, and Cullen has another round of What’s In a Name, the game that is sweeping the podcast airwaves.

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you’ve been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
