Welcome to July, which seems to be a month-long run of daily fireworks, literally and figuratively. As always, whatever you do in life, please do it safely! We want you to come back each and every week to listen to this incredible FREE podcast.
This week, the guys take a look at our favorite patriotic characters – from Captain America to Uncle Sam to Yankee Poodle, we take a good look at many of the characters wearing the red, white and blue.
We also announce our brand new contest, with our largest prize to date. What is it, you ask? Well, listen to the podcast below, or check out the announcement posting at 11 AM on Friday, July 8. You have until August 14 to get entered into the contest, so there should NO EXCUSE for not getting registered to win.
….
OK, I’m going to tease it just a little bit. We are so excited about this gift, and we can’t wait to see which one of you wins this prize. It involves one of our favorite characters from Captain America: Civil War. That narrows the list down to a dozen characters. Keep guessing and get registered.
Anyway, we take a look at Micronauts #3, the new Iron Man announcement, and the rest of the June DC Rebirth books. We’re loving the Batman books, and still looking for more from Wonder Woman. What are your thoughts on Rebirth? Let us know in the comments.
We play two more rounds of Fan Favorite Feud, with responses gathered back at the Smallville Comic Con. Let’s just say Cullen is still basking in the glow of his win, and Jerry is still questioning the responses from the participants.
In case you haven’t seen any of our multiple mentions, you can find John and Jerry at O Comic Con beginning today. Stop by booth B2 and say hello, see our incredible contest prize teased above and make plans to attend the panels we will be hosting.
As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
