Interview with Writer/Editor Barbara Randall Kesel – San Diego Comic Con 2015

Over the last 30 years, Barbara Randall Kesel has been an active writer and editor in the comic book industry. Starting with DC Comics, she got her start editing stories in Action Comics Weekly. She went on to write numerous titles over the years, such as Hawk and Dove, Elseworld’s Finest, Solus, and Meridian. In recent years, Barbara has been a contributor to the Womanthology line of books, featuring stories from female creators.

During the San Diego Comic-Con, John from the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! met with Barbara to discuss the importance of the Womanthology project, and the roles for women in comics, as well as the roles of women characters in comics.
