WCPE Episode 179 – Interview with Doug Jones and Con Weekend Wrap-Up

So how was your weekend? Because ours was pretty incredible! John got hugs from Doug Jones, Jerry chatted it up with a not-so-silent Silent Bob, and Cullen found a motherlode of Who’s Who issues in a Portland dollar box.

In this episode, we chat up all things Kansas City Comic Con and Frankenstein’s Comic Swap. We go over our panels, including the incredible WCPE panel which can be found in our podcast feed next week. We talk about the friends we saw throughout the weekend, and the new friends we met along the way.

John did do some work along the way, getting out the recorder to talk to Doug Jones, one of the stars of Star Trek: Discovery. Despite some technical glitches, the guys made it work for a quick interview with a truly wonderful person.

John presents the guys with a Marvel panel quiz, and Jerry receives an early birthday present from the guys. All in all, it’s a pretty darn good show, if we do say so ourselves.
