An even greater thrill for the guys of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! is to pick up a brand new book and just be blown away by an incredible story, art, and color, and then find out that one of our friends is a creator on the book. Again, that was the case for us this week as we eagerly consumed Savage #1 from Valiant Entertainment, which is written by our friend, B. Clay Moore.
However, the greatest thrill for the guys of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! is to pick up a brand new book, be blown away, have one of our friends work on the book, and then get the chance to bring said friend on this show to promote the book.
So yes, we have B. Clay Moore on the show today to talk all things Savage, a book that has been 10 years in the making, but it finally arrived at the right time. We are so impressed by all aspects of this book, and cannot wait to see how the Savage story advances as well as to see how Savage fits into the ongoing Valiant universe.
In addition to the Savage talk, we also check in with the world of Hawaiian Dick. Fresh off the successful Kickstarter campaign, the adventures of Byrd are wrapping up in the current mini-series. But there is a good chance that we may see those adventures on TV some point soon. Clay gives us the run-down of getting a property optioned and then developed into an ongoing show.
We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you’ve been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
