What happened to our summer?!?!? It seems like it was just yesterday that all of the kids (and John) were getting out of school for the summer. Now, all of the kids (and John) are now headed back to school! Seriously, the last three months have just flown by!
As we hold onto the last few hours remaining of our summer vacation, the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! tries to ease the transition back into our new routine.
- Perhaps taking the best parts of summer vacation at camp and going back to school, we take a look at Lumberjanes/Gotham Academy #1-3 from Boom Studios and DC Comics. We’ve been big fans of Lumberjanes for some time now – be sure to check out our panel with Lumberjanes co-creator Grace Ellis from earlier this summer – and it’s a blast seeing them meet up with the kids from Gotham Academy.
- We managed to take in a matinee showing of Suicide Squad, the new entry into the DC Cinematic Universe. Got to tell you, we all enjoyed this movie. Don’t be a hater – go see this movie! NOW!
- Summer cannot come to a conclusion without just one more convention for us! Which means you can find Cullen, John, and Jerry at the second Kansas City Comic Con, which begins today! We are going to be hosting a lot of panels, interviewing guests, and meeting our friends at booth #821. Please stop by and say ‘Hi!’ to us.
