Another busy week in the secret headquarters of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! And our work brings about this brand new FREE podcast. All that we ask is that you give us a listen and share with your friends!
Now earlier this week, on our Facebook page, we asked for some recommendations for your favorite comic heroes and/or villains. From those many suggestions, and THANK YOU to everyone who chimed in, we discussed the various characters and what our idealized version of that character is in our heads when the character is mentioned. For example, if someone mentions Spider-Man, one person may think of Tom Holland in the recent Captain America movie, while someone else may think of Steve Ditko’s 1960s version, and a third person might think about Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. There are no right or wrong answers, but a lot of fun discussion.
Before we get started with that, we have a discussion on Artist Alley, and why some people make money and others don’t. This was prompted by an article that Cullen shared earlier in the week. We give our insights and thoughts, and we would love to hear your opinions too. Feel free to send us a note or post a reply with what you think creators in Artist Alley need to do.
We wrap things up with a quick discussion on O Comic Con, which runs next weekend in Council Bluffs, Iowa. John and Jerry will be there at booth B2. We expect you to stop by and say hello, and make plans to attend the panels we will be hosting.
As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
