What a crazy week it has been since the guys from the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! all got together last week to talk about the Secret Wars event? Since that recording, we have seen:

• The announcement that Stan Lee is coming to Planet Comicon in Kansas City this May. For many of us, Stan Lee is the holy grail of comic book creators. So much of what we know about the Marvel Universe is tied back to Stan Lee – characters such as Willy Lumpkin, Aunt May, and Pepper Potts. In fact, we’ve heard that Stan might have created one or two superheroes along the way. Let’s not forget about the number of blockbuster films he’s been in! Why the box office totals of his movies are right up there with the likes of Harrison Ford and Samuel L. Jackson. The guy does not make a bad movie. All kidding aside, we are extremely excited for Stan Lee to be in Kansas City. Big congratulations to Chris Jackson and his crew for making this happen. And if you need a host for his panel, well, the three of us are all available.
• The announcement of the DC Comics Rebirth this summer, following the release of the #52 issues from the New 52 universe. This is a developing story, but that doesn’t stop us from speculating as to what this will mean to our favorite titles, as well as what we hope we will see come out as a result of the change.
• Finally, we get back to talking about comics with the release of Faith #1 from Valiant Entertainment. This will be the first title we spotlight in 2016 as our books-of-the-year. This is a great start to what should be a smash hit, and we hope all of you enjoy this book as much as we do. We could tell you more, but we would rather you listen to the podcast to get the full details. Because that’s how this relationship works. We talk and you listen!
