Welcome to 2016! The Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! is back from the holiday break and ready to get back into action! We’re fully charged with midi-chlorians, and we can’t wait to share our awareness with you.
Obviously, the most important topic for the podcast this week is Star Wars – Episode VII: The Force Awakens. All of us have seen it (in some cases, multiple times), and we LOVED it! Sure, we could quibble over some of the small details, such as the First Order draining the energy of a star and holding it in a set of rechargeable D batteries, but we can easily overlook that to concentrate on the awesomeness that is TFA.
John gives us a rundown of his recent trip to San Francisco, and his family’s walking adventure in downtown to visit four comic book shops. Some great interactions, some cool shops, and lots of good exercise in late December. Sounds like a win!
We do want to remind you to take part in our best of 2015 survey, which runs through the end of January. Tell us your favorite titles, creators, and moments over the last 12 months. We’ve seen some of the responses so far, and are both pleased and surprised with some of the results. So what are you waiting for?
We held off on any TV talk, but expect a full episode next week as we recap the fall season and look ahead to the spring season. New shows like Legends of Tomorrow and Lucifer; returning shows like Agent Carter; and shows resuming like Gotham, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and The Flash.
We are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, and we hope you enjoy the show. Best wishes for a successful 2016!
