I’ve Got Issues – Saying Goodbye to 2015

I hope everyone found some great gifts under the Christmas tree this past week. For me, the big guy in the red suit left me a few gifts, but he apparently likes my kids more than me. What’s up with that? Anyway, going to keep with the Cliff’s Notes version for the I’ve Got Issues column this week. You get a list of what I have read in the last seven days, a recap of the past week at the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, and a look ahead to what we have coming up to bring 2015 to a close!

My reading list — all books are current unless noted.

  • All-New X-Men #1
  • Black Knight #1
  • Grayson #15
  • Green Arrow #83 to #94 (1994-95)
  • The Kitchen TPB
  • New Romancer #1
  • Rachel Rising #38
  • Rebels #9
  • Scarlet Witch #1
  • Sensation Comics #17
  • Star Trek #52
  • Star Trek/Green Lantern #6
  • Uncle Scrooge #6 to #8

Finally, let’s rewind last week, and fast-forward this week!

Last Week:

  • Cullen surprised everyone by reviewing Weirdworld #1 for 60 Second Review.
  • John shared his choices for Four Comics I Want – Venus, Doctor Mirage, Hellcat, and Darth Vader.
  • John debuted a new feature, John of All Trades.
  • Before getting Avengers: Age of Ultron on Blu-Ray, Jerry reviewed Essential Avengers Vol. 3, which included the debut of Ultron and the Vision, for Throwback Thursday.
  • The guys did a commentary track for the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special on the podcast.

This Week:

  • Most shows are on winter break, so use this time to catch up on your DVR. You can still check the WCPE TV listings to see what else is on.
  • Cullen, John and Jerry will still have their usual features.
  • Look for Four Comics I Want features each Tuesday.
  • Jerry and Brent will be back with a new Second Opinion looking at the Doctor Who Christmas episode.
  • Our Best of 2015 podcast will release on New Year’s Day!
