WCPE Episode 064 – For September 30, 2015 – Creator $ignature$!

The Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! is back — for more cash! You’ll thank us later!

The topic burning up the social media channels all week long has been the discussion over creators asking for money in exchange for an autograph(s). Naturally, the guys you all know and love (Cullen, Jerry, and John) had a few thoughts and opinions on the matter. Should a creator charge for an autograph? If so, how much, and how many? Should they sign for someone obviously looking to flip the signature on eBay? While there are no right or wrong answers on this subject, everyone has an opinion, and we would love to hear yours! Share your thoughts or experiences with us in the comments below or on our social media channels.

Jerry shares his experiences at the Elite Comics’ We Are Still Batman event last weekend. Saw lots of familiar faces, met some new friends, and picked up some new books, including Weirdworld.

We do give some early impressions on the returning TV shows that have started up. This would be an excellent time to give a quick plug to the WCPE TV schedule we have added to our website. It’s a work in progress, no guarantees to be 100% accurate, but hopefully, it will help some of you plan out your evenings or weekly viewing! (Just make sure you allocate time to keep listening to our podcasts!)

Look for John and Jerry at the Free State Comicon this Saturday, October 3, in Lawrence, KS. We will be the two knuckleheads in matching WCPE t-shirts trying to interview some of the guests. Stop us and say hi! We promise not to charge (much) for our autographs.

We are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, and we hope you enjoy the show.

The Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! is proudly sponsored by Clint’s Comics. Clint’s is located at 3941 Main in Kansas City, Missouri, and is open Monday through Saturday.
