Ok, be patient with us as we try to recapture the last three days. It is so hard to describe in words (or pictures) the incredible weekend that the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! had at the first Kansas City Comic Con.

First, all of our panels were so well received! John had the opportunity to oversee panels for Cerina Vincent, Butch Patrick, and Rick Howland; Jerry went through time and space with the Sixth Doctor, Colin Baker; and the entire WCPE crew could be found hosting the Secret Wars panel (with Jim Shooter, Mike Zeck, and John Beatty), as well as a panel about the podcast as well.

We saw so many familiar faces throughout the convention, and we made a lot of new friends. It’s going to be hard to name EVERYONE who we bumped into or reconnected with. Even if we tried, we would just leave someone out. So please know we appreciated seeing you again, and we cannot wait until our paths cross again.

However, we do want to give shout-outs to our table-mates that had to put up with us all weekend long. Damont Jordan (@DamontJordan) and Israel Davis (@NerdKingKomics) are outstanding examples of artists making their niche in the market. These guys are complete professionals, but also fun and easy to work with. We wish you the best of success in all of your future endeavors, and we will gladly share a table with you anytime. We did record interviews with each of them, which will be airing soon!

With where our table was located, we had a lot of people passing by in costume. There were a lot of costumes. You could probably fill a large room just with the Harley Quinns and Deadpools that roamed the floors. There are so many creative people taking part in the cosplay community — we applaud you all. We tried to capture as many as we could, but understand that for every photo we took, we probably missed out on 10 other people in costumes.
