They said it wouldn’t happen, that it couldn’t happen, but it has! The Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! has reached its 50th episode and to mark this special anniversary we recorded in in front of a live studio audience. How did we possibly get a room full of people to sit for our act for an entire hour? We had a lot of help … and we made our families come.

We couldn’t have done this week’s show without an invitation to be a part of the Johnson County (KS) library’s Fandom Celebration on June 13. They gathered folks together to talk about their fandoms and we got to share our love of comics, the library and a bit about podcasting.

In this show, we share how we got into comics, the most valued possession in our collections and what superpower we would have if we only could. Jerry then plays host as John and Cullen have a showdown in our latest episode of Fan Favorite Feud.

This week’s show might be our best ever and I’m tempted to say that we should record in front of a live audience more often. Listen, enjoy, and let us know what you think!
