WCPEver Episode 373 – What If Stargirl Joined Substack?

On this week’s episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!:

  • We saw the return of Stargirl to the CW this past week. For a first episode back, there was a lot of storylines introduced, as well as some new characters and a few that are returning.
  • In addition, over on Disney+, we got the first episode of Marvel’s What If? series, which revisited the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. In traditional What If fashion, this initial episode dealt with Steve Rogers not receiving the super-soldier serum; instead it went to our favorite British agent, Peggy Carter. Tell me you wouldn’t want to see a movie featuring Captain Carter?
  • A lot of well-known creators announced that they will be setting up shop over at Substack. We discuss how this may impact creators, publishers and the industry.
  • Of course, we have our Pick 3 selections, sponsored by our friends at Clint’s Comics in Kansas City.

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you’ve been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
