The guys from the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! took in the new Black Widow movie over the weekend, bringing the MCU back to the big screen for the first time since 2019. Set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, we find out what Natasha has been up to behind the scenes. Turns out to be a family reunion of sorts, as we meet her parents and sister. And along the way, she encounters the Taskmaster. Seriously, why are we even putting anything here. We’ve seen the movie, we know you have seen the movie. Let’s just discuss it and have a good time.) But do listen close because we have another trivia question related to Natasha!
Jerry is back from a family vacation to Texas, which included some stops at a few comic books stores, PLUS he visited the fabled Ollie’s discount chain for some great deals on comic collections.

On this week’s episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, we are taking a look at representation in comics with the celebration of Pride Month. Representation is important, and there were times when comics got it right, and more times when comics got it wrong. Whether is Northstar, Harley & Ivy, or any other characters past or present, we have a free-form conversation talking about the the characters that so many people identify with.
And while we did not address this on the show, let’s put this back out as a reminder as we slowly return to conventions across the country. Whether we are set us as the podcast or volunteering for the Hero Initiative, our booths are always a safe space for anyone. Speaking of conventions, looks like Cullen will be the first one returning to a full con next weekend with the Washington State Summer Con. They have a great list of modern and veteran comic creators, and they will all get the full Stapleton experience at the show in mid-June. (On the off-chance that Al Milgrom happens to be reading this post, let us go ahead and apologize now for anything Cullen may say or do during his fanboy meeting with you in ten days.)
