WCPE Episode 147 – Spectrum Fantastic Art Live Preview

Con season is coming a week early to Kansas City, as the Spectrum Fantastic Art Live show returns to the area next weekend. From April 21-23, some of the greatest artists in the world will converge on Municipal Auditorium downtown for a creative artist shindig!

To get the full scoop on everything going on at Spectrum, Jerry and John sat down with Jeff Smith and Carl Anderson to discuss the guests, the panels, the events, and all things Spectrum! The best thing about this show has to be the ticket price! For the small price of just $5, you can get into this show. And for families coming to the show, the kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

As far as the guests, well, it’s like a Who’s Who of legendary creators. Let’s start with Brom, add in Richard & Wendy Pini, mix in Frank Cho and Bill Sienkiewicz (quite proud that I typed his name correctly the first time), don’t forget Terry Dodson and George Pratt. Heck, I’m going to do a disservice by not listing everyone here. Tell you what – go check out spectrumfantasticartlive.com to get the complete guest list and schedule of activities. 1. I would have loved to have met the Pini’s! I love ElfQuest, esp with Wendy’s art.
